Pat yourself on the back when you get positive feedback from a parent or when you finish a small task. Recognising even minor achievements can be the motivation boost you need to keep working hard and stay focused on your goals.
It can also give you a confidence boost, allowing you to build a sense of pride in your work. All of these can be the foundation of a positive mindset.
Next, surround yourself with positive people
Having a supportive group of peers can help you be more optimistic about yourself, your work, and your environment. It’s easier to focus on the silver lining when you have positive people riding the rocky waters with you.
They can also provide comfort when you’re feeling down and encouragement when you need that extra push to the finish line.
